Our History
A group of Black students came together with a shared vision: to create a home on campus where they could be seen, heard, and supported.
BSA grew from a founding group to one of the most active student organizations on campus, hosting major cultural events and forging partnerships with faculty and administration.
BSA launched its signature campus-wide Juneteenth celebration, drawing hundreds of attendees and becoming a beloved tradition that continues to grow each year.
BSA continues to lead with purpose — innovating programming, amplifying student voices, and building the legacy that future generations will inherit.
